Introduction
A young superintendent who is quick to step up in times of crisis, with a belief in order that borders on the fanatical. Right and wrong. Black and white. The law knows no compromise. To enforce the law, one must cast out all notions of mercy, for in his eyes, evil has no shades of grey.
Personality
Rex can remain calm and focused when the situation requires, but his duel with the Detective reveals a warrior who genuinely loves to let loose in battle: his heavy composite club exists partly to hold back his already-insane agility.
His absolutism is his defining trait: an officer of the Royal Navy ensuring the Constabulary operates to the standards required by the Crown, he treats leniency itself as a threat to the law’s authority.
Appearance
A young officer in Constabulary dress, wielding a composite club that splits between truncheon and nunchuck forms, with two Fulmen-charged police dogs at his side.
Role in the Story
Rex is Lorin's direct superior at the River Constabulary. In the story he serves as the first proper boss: he bars the Detective from leaving the Constabulary, in a fight designed to teach parry timing, character switching, and combined element attacks, with “Cinderella” as tutorial boss and the first Werewolf before him.
