Silver Palace Catalysts
Updated 1 November 2026 · 17 Catalysts · 3 sockets · 14 Power
Catalysts are Silver Palace's Reactor add-ons: 17 are in the beta files, each character holds up to three, and every one fires when its holder makes a Tactical Assault. The first, second and third Catalyst on a character cost 1, 2 and 4 Power from a budget the whole team shares, which grows from 3 to 14 with Crisis Level. 10 are Omni and fit anyone; the rest need a matching Reactor attribute on the team.
Data compiled from the Dichotomy beta game files, checked 1 November 2026. Launch is 14 December 2026 (UTC+8), and names and numbers can change before then.

17 Catalysts
Omni16sAsphaltniumGain +6% DMG.
Omni16sGalenaEach successful hit increases the character's CRIT Rate by 1% for 8s, up to 7 times.
Glacies16sAlumalloyAttribute RES Penetration increases as the enemy count within a 5-metre radius drops, from 3% with 3 enemies up to 9% with 1 enemy.
OmniInstantStoneAll teammates gain a shield that absorbs DMG equal to 12% of the on-field character's HP for 25s.
Gravitas12sWolframiteThe closer the character is to the enemy, the more DMG they deal: up to a 9% bonus against enemies within 1 metre, to no bonus when beyond 3.5 metres.
Omni16sFerroxeneDMG dealt by this character cannot build up attribute debuffs or Stun values. The character instead gains an 18% DMG Bonus.
GlaciesInstantCryofluxWhen the holder triggers Tactical Assault, recover 25% of Silverdrips.
Omni12sAcetic AcidThe character gains Healing Efficiency +25%.
Ignis16sVulkanashWhen the holder's Ignis DMG triggers a critical hit, all teammates recover 1 Silverdrip, up to 2 times per second.
Ignis16sHexogenWhen the character kills an enemy, they trigger an explosion that deals Ignis DMG equal to 70% ATK.

Omni12sLeadThe character's Skill increases Resonance Accumulation Efficiency by 24%.
Omni12sNitric AcidCharacter Amplitude Coefficient +7%.
Omni12sAntimonyWhenever the character successfully parries, they gain 3 stacks of Focus, up to a maximum of 6. While Focus is active, the character's next attack will crit. Focus lasts 12s.
Omni12sAlkaliThe character's Execution reduces the enemy's DEF by 12% for 16s.

How Catalysts work
The game's screen for them is the Reactor: each character in a Partners preset has a row of three Catalyst sockets, and every Catalyst fires from the same trigger, its holder's Tactical Assault, the attack a character makes when you switch them in on Reactor Energy. That puts Catalysts at the end of the combat loop rather than on a stat sheet. Unlike Motives and Implements, they belong to the Reactor, not to the character's gear.
The 17 effects come in three timings: 8 open a 16-second window after the Tactical Assault, 6 open a 12-second one, and Stone, Cryoflux and Tin resolve the moment it lands.
Stone, Tin and Vulkanash work for the whole team (a shield, a heal and Silverdrip), so they earn a socket even on a support. There are no sets and, by fan-compiled data, a single purple rarity: you choose a Catalyst for its effect.
Elementa's own feedback notice of 22 August 2026 admitted that Reactor and Catalyst effects were "easy to overlook during combat" and promised a clearer combat UI, so expect these screens to change at launch.

Attributes: who can equip what
The files know eight Catalyst attributes, the seven Reactor attributes plus Omni. A Catalyst of an attribute can be equipped as long as someone on the team has a Reactor of that attribute; Omni fits anyone. In the beta, 10 of the 17 are Omni, 3 Ignis, 3 Glacies and 1 Gravitas.
The attribute on our pages is read from each Catalyst's icon: the red flame, blue star and purple eye match the Ignis, Glacies and Gravitas element icons, and the neutral white gem carries only effects that name no element.
Match the attribute to the team: Vulkanash only pays out on Ignis crits, so it suits an Ignis character such as Cinderella and does next to nothing on a Fulmen one such as Rex.

Shared by the whole preset, not per character.
The cost belongs to the socket, not to the Catalyst. The first Catalyst on a character costs 1 Power, the second 2 and the third 4, so a full row costs 7. The whole preset shares one Power Limit, which rises from 3 to 7 to 14 as you raise your Crisis Level, the world level. Five Reactor screens filmed in the beta add up this way, from 3 of 3 early on to Rexlent's 14 of 14, and AmethystAbrams' test settles it: removing the Catalyst in the first socket dropped the count by 4, because the character went from three Catalysts to two.

The third socket costs as much as the first two plus one. Our reading: give third Catalysts only to the characters who Tactical Assault most, usually the main DPS, which is also where Quick Equip puts them, and give everyone else one or two.

Where Catalysts drop
Drops are not tracked per Catalyst, so every page in this database shares the same sources:
Quests, puzzles and bosses
Around the city, by Shrike's beta video.
Advancement Tests and Adversaries
Advancement Tests (Mental Breakthrough in the client) and elite Adversary enemies, by fan-compiled data.
Catalyst Shop
Sells them for Hilbert's Hotel Vouchers.
Do not confuse them with the catalysts you pick up inside Hilbert's Hotel: those last one run and level up inside it. The 17 Reactor Catalysts here are permanent.
Frequently asked questions
6 answers, always open
- What are Catalysts in Silver Palace?
- Catalysts are items slotted into a character's Reactor, up to three per character. Each one triggers off that character's Tactical Assault, for example +6% DMG for 16s (Asphaltnium) or a team heal for 18% of the holder's HP (Tin). 17 are in the Dichotomy beta files.
- How does the Catalyst Power Limit work in Silver Palace?
- The first Catalyst on a character costs 1 Power, the second 2 and the third 4, so a full Reactor row costs 7. All characters in a preset share one Power Limit, which rises from 3 to 7 to 14 with Crisis Level. Beta Reactor screens filmed by creators add up this way.
- How many Catalysts are in Silver Palace?
- 17 in the Dichotomy beta: Asphaltnium, Galena, Alumalloy, Stone, Wolframite, Ferroxene, Cryoflux, Acetic Acid, Vulkanash, Hexogen, Sulfate, Lead, Nitric Acid, Antimony, Alkali, Dry Ice and Tin. Rexlent's Reactor screen shows the same list. The launch list can differ.
- Can any character equip any Catalyst?
- Omni Catalysts, 10 of the 17, fit anyone. The others need someone on the team with a Reactor of the same attribute: Ignis for Vulkanash, Hexogen and Sulfate, Glacies for Alumalloy, Cryoflux and Dry Ice, Gravitas for Wolframite.
- Do Catalysts have set bonuses in Silver Palace?
- No. Catalysts have no sets and, by fan-compiled data, one purple rarity, so you choose them for their effect. Set bonuses belong to Implements, the four-piece gear each character wears next to one Epiphany.
- Where do you get Catalysts in Silver Palace?
- From quests, puzzles and bosses, from Advancement Tests (Mental Breakthrough in the client) and elite Adversary enemies, and from the Catalyst Shop for Hilbert's Hotel Vouchers. The catalysts found inside a Hilbert's Hotel run are a separate, temporary system.
