“You got what you deserved, and I am guilty as charged... Hahaha, we're perfect for each other!”
A day where cold gives way to warmth. The glimmer of hope is shining again. “Cinderella” is a lady of secrets and a most meticulous planner of vengeance — sharp, thrifty, and observant. A fiery burst of magma long suppressed, a body as enduring as stone.
Sharp, thrifty, and observant, Cinderella plans her vengeance with meticulous care. Her hidden identity has long been a source of insecurity, and revenge-before-reason is the flaw that defines her — it is implied to be the very thing that drove her and the Detective apart.
When obtained as a playable character, her character-menu animations show she quietly regrets letting things fall apart between them.
Cinderella has long white hair and red irises with white pupils, and wears a sun-like crown. She fights with a flame sword and a machine gun, and as a boss she rides a pumpkin carriage drawn by two white horses clad in obsidian armor.
She approached the Detective for a common goal, only to drift away once their goals no longer aligned. Now she is burning away the last vestiges of her life for a final showdown.
Cinderella is also the first face the player meets in battle: her boss version opens the game as the combat-tutorial fight of the Action Prologue, a two-phase battle — first against her flame-throwing carriage, then against Cinderella herself.
Her codename references the Cinderella folk tale — down to the pumpkin carriage she rides into battle.
She is a member of the Fableborne, and her name is always written in quotation marks.
An NPC named Ashley — a humble girl who becomes the Detective’s assistant — bears a striking resemblance to her, fueling speculation that they are one and the same.
