“The most important job of a maid is to protect her employer!”
A speckless home, a speckless soul. Alf is Maid No. 49 of the Maid Institute, Society, and Services (MISS). This clueless yet determined girl somehow learned about the Detective's kind nature and chose to stick around.
Alf is blessed with zero common sense, terrible housekeeping skills, and situational unawareness — she mistakes salt for sugar when brewing tea and cannot be trusted to clean without supervision. In a world bursting with knowledge to learn, she carries only two weapons: a flamethrower, and a bulletproof innocent heart.
To her, everything under the sun is a brand-new wonder: “Why is the sky blue? Why does it snow? Why is Master so frustrated? And why is Master sad?” What she lacks in skill she repays in earnestness — and in combat, she is surprisingly dependable.
Alf has salmon-pink hair and teal eyes with light pink pupils. She wears a short, mostly black maid dress with white-detailed black sleeves, a heart-shaped watch pinned at her hip, and cat-paw motif belts loaded with shotgun shells at her waist. Black and white four-leaf clovers recur throughout her design, and she keeps her flamethrower slung behind her like a tail — usually alongside a maid’s suitcase.
Alf barges into the Detective’s assistant interviews hilariously unqualified — unable to read, brew tea, or clean — yet the Detective lets her stay as a maid so someone can watch the office. Her interview foil is Ashley, the humble girl who eventually gets the assistant job. A memo from the Detective remains posted on the fridge door: “NO WEAPONS in the kitchen.”
Her lever-action shotgun converts into a flamethrower when she plugs in a hose from the Reactor on her back, reducing enemies to cinders.
With both hands glued to her shotgun, her melee game is all kicks, stock bashes, and the occasional headbutt.
In flamethrower mode she becomes a walking flame tank, slowing to a stroll while spraying fire in a wide cone.
