How to spend on Detective

Our plan

Our plan, not a creator's. Every account gets the Detective, so their Hero's materials are a safe early spend. Start with Raven Slayer, then the Basic Attack, then the Ultimate. Their full Methods bill includes 4 Twin Argent Strands; as a carry they are worth them, and the Skill node is where we would put the first one.

Their Potential Breaks are the unusual part: 47 Rectified Darkmatter Concentrate, which no one else in the beta roster uses, next to Gold Mistletoe and Metal-Blooded Claws. If you also raise Rex, plan ahead, because he draws on the same Hero's materials and the same Claws.
