Best Detective Teams
Updated 27 October 2026
The best Detective team is the Detective, Captain Kaboom and Firtho or Gratia: the Gravity Field slows enemies, she breaks them, and the healer keeps the loop going. Red Rose can take Captain Kaboom's slot for a crit buff instead. Beta data; the teams are our suggestion.
Stun and slow team
The Gravity Field holds enemies for her spins
Time Dilation inside the Gravity Field keeps enemies still while Captain Kaboom spins them toward a stun, and the Detective then cashes in on the stunned target. Firtho or Gratia keeps both of them on the field through the long combos.
Crit buff team
Red Rose raises crit; her Ignis bonus is lost
Red Rose is the strongest crit buffer in the beta, which suits a carry built on CRIT Rate, but the Ignis side of her kit does nothing for Gravitas hits. No support is built for the Detective yet, so this is the best fit until one arrives.
These teams are our suggestion from the beta roster, using the slot roles in our combat styles guide. No other beta character is Gravitas, so nobody shares the Detective's attribute and every team gives up some element bonus.
