Our plan, not a creator's. Lorin is a 4-star, but his full Methods bill is the same 221,810 Ounce as the 5-star carries, paid in Guardian's materials. Put them into Reflex Fist first, then Non-Lethal Current; Strategic Retreat can sit at a middle level since it mostly exists to trigger his Passive. Give him a Twin Argent Strand only after your carry has theirs.

Watch the Potential Breaks if you also raise Rex or Grimm: all three need the same 47 Rectified Conductive Concentrate. Lorin also uses Recyclable Whitesand and Feathers, which Rex does not, so the Conductive Concentrate is the one to budget between them.
