Best Captain Kaboom Teams
Updated 31 October 2026
The best Captain Kaboom team is Rex or Cinderella, Captain Kaboom and Red Rose: she stuns, Red Rose adds +50% team CRIT DMG, and the DPS executes. For a sturdier Radiatio team, swap Red Rose for the healer Firtho. Beta data; the teams are our suggestion.
Stun-focused team
She stuns, Red Rose buffs, the DPS executes
Captain Kaboom empties the enemy’s stun gauge with her Pressure spins. Once it is Stunned it can be executed, and Red Rose’s +50% CRIT DMG lands on the Rex or Cinderella burst that follows.
Radiatio team
Firtho heals and shares her Radiatio element
Firtho is the other Radiatio character in the beta and a healer. Healing covers the slow wind-up of Captain Kaboom’s attacks that Tystra points out, so she can stay in and keep spinning.
One DPS, Captain Kaboom as the Break Suppressor and a third slot, from our combat styles guide. These teams are our suggestion built from the beta roster: Tystra only plays her alone in the tutorial. The logic is the Stun loop: a Stunned enemy can be executed and then enters a Weakened state.
